CAVE DIVING IN KHAOSOK NATIONAL PARK
Khao Sok National Park is a stunning area of ancient rainforest with huge limestone pinnacles jutting from the 165 sq km lake that dominates the park. The lake was created by a damning project which left many of the area’s natural cave and cavern system underwater. The scenery underwater is just as impressive as above and the best part is that its quiet – you will be the only divers there as it’s a relatively new dive destination.
You can enjoy diving in the park if you don’t want to take any cavern or cave training as there is still plenty to see and many stunning formations to enjoy. This place, however, is a perfect place to learn the techniques for cavern and cave diving and truly safely explore the grottos and caverns that pepper the lakeside.
