Trip B: Accompany with Manta

At 18:30 departure from Ranong, cruise to Koh Tachai to check and try equipment and to do the final payment. Meeting time at our shop is 01:00 PM whereafter we will on board at 03:30 PM. Departure time from Ranong is around 04:00 PM. After pick up one of our diving instructors and our guests in Koh Payam at 06:30 PM, we will leave to Koh Tachai island.
First day is the day to get in touch with the blue. We will start with our check dive in Koh Tachai which is a home for leopard sharks and nurse sharks. Then we will leave to Koh Bon, which is alongside with the Pinnacle close to Koh Bon, the right spot for manta rays. There we will make our second dive.
Last season, divers have spotted mantas during the whole season and sometimes we have seen three and more mantas in a single dive. After second dive, we will leave to Similan island which is the most famous dive site in Thailand and a home for beautiful coral reef and reef fishes. In the nothern part of Similian, we we'll do one fun dive and one night dive. During these dives, there is a good chance to see manta rays, reef sharks, napoleons and barracudas.
Second day is the day for big fishes like sharks and rays. We will dive four dive in southern and middle parts of Similan. In the evening, before sunset, we will also visit the Similan island's beautiful beach.
Third day is the day with the mantas. We will make two quite enjoyable drift dives at spendid dive sites in where we can see the most attractive coral life of the northern part of Similan. After that, we turn back to Koh Bon pinnacle to see some manta rays again. The last dive of the dat will be done at Koh Tachai Pinnacle, which provides us the possibility to see more mantas and even whale sharks.
The last day is the day to go big aquarium. Richchelieu Rock is a remote rock in the middle of sea but it is home to some of the largest marine life species in Thailand and sightings of whale shark, other sharks and manta rays are common. Additionally, have also a chance to see tiny things like sea horse, ghost pipefish, many species of nudibranch as well. We will make two dives in here before going back to Koh Payam and Ranong.
